Will Oatlands be Mayfair in forthcoming Monopoly Parramatta Edition? Have your say

0

The city of Parramatta, lovingly known as Sydney’s beating heart, is set to have its own version of Monopoly.

The board game’s manufacturer Winning Moves wants the people of the city in Western Sydney to now nominate which locations should feature on the board and where they should go.

Oatlands, which has a median house sale price of $2.2 million, is odds-on favourite to be Mayfair on the Parramatta Edition of Monopoly.

Then, of course, there’s Old Government House, Parramatta Westfield (pictured), Parramatta Stadium (known as CommBank Stadium), Lake Parramatta Reserve, and Centenary Square – the reborn Church Street Mall.

“This version will be everything you love about the traditional board, with the added fun of fighting for the ownership of familiar locations around Parramatta,” Winning Moves representative Dale Hackett told News Corporation.

“Would you prefer to see Parramatta Stadium, Church Street Mall (now known as Centenary Square), or Parramatta Park on there – or all of them? Which location do you think deserves to be Mayfair? Now is the time to let us know and get involved in creating this limited-edition board.”
