This is the closest you can ever get to flying like an eagle. This week’s amazing video is of an eagle being released from the top of the world’s tallest building, the 830 metre -tall ‘Burj Khalifa’ in Dubai. Chris (Frank) was there a month ago and he says this building is truly awe-inspiring.
Strapped to the eagle’s back is a GoPro camera. It gives the incredible ‘eagle’s view’ (and sounds) from its departure point at the top of the 209 level building, all the way down to its trainer, who is waiting on the ground, holding a small piece of meat.
Watch, listen and enjoy the ride as the magnificent bird circles around the city, spots its trainer and dives down to land on his arm. It’s a Guinness World record event and it is two minutes that are totally amazing.
