Ray Holley, 91, a resident at Berkeley Vale Care Community on the NSW Central Coast, showed age is but a number as he made a leap of faith – his first skydive. Mr Holley had almost wanted to skydive after he missed out on a ride in fighter jet when he was in the Australian navy.

“It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time, and I finally got the chance,” an exhilarated Mr Holley, who is legally blind, said afterwards.

“The scenery was just beautiful to take in, it’s a whole different world up there.”
