US neighbour dispute gets taken to the next level: Google Maps

0

A homeowner in the Washington town of Sequim has used the global satellite mapping system to tell the world exactly how he feels about his neighbour – as the picture above shows.

Mown into the grass of the property, it shows an arrow pointing at the neighbour’s property – with a very blunt description.

The satellite slap down was reportedly sparked by an argument over a purple multi-car garage that was dubbed the “purple people-eater” by some locals, according to International Business Times.

“Several neighbours started complaining that it was ugly and petitioned the city for property tax relief because they claimed this garage drove down property values,” one Reddit user wrote.

The image has only gone viral this week, but it turns out it’s not so new – one user reported that the message first appeared between 2011 and 2013.

That’s a long time – and a lot of mowing – to maintain the rage.
