Thieves in the US steal 30,000 condoms

No, really. The thieves made off with the unusual haul after breaking into high-end sex toy maker LELO’s Las Vegas warehouse – before returning the next night to help themselves to $10,000 worth of sex toys.

The company has released CCTV footage of the robbery in a bid to identify the two men involved, who took advantage of the warehouse being closed for a long weekend.

In a press release – titled “You might question our security, but you can’t argue with our protection” – LELO had some choice words for the thieves.

“One hopes that they stole those condoms, got into a time machine, went back 18-25 years (by the looks of it), and presented them all to their own fathers,” it reads.

The company is now calling on the public for any information on the theft, with a promise to donate the full value of the merchandise to their chosen charity as a reward.

Let’s hope it works – otherwise the rubber robbers will be getting off easy.
