Stage two refurbishment at Villa Maria Aged Care Centre completed

0

Catholic Healthcare’s Villa Maria Centre in Fortitude Valley celebrated completion of  stage two refurbishment of the St Gabriel’s wing with an Open day last Saturday.

Having taken more than two years to complete the refurbishment, which will provide an additional 72 residential aged care places -18 of which will be in the memory support unit – is due to open to new residents on 25th February.

The development will create much needed additional services in Fortitude Valley and the surrounding district for the growing aged population according to Michael Lockwood, Catholic Healthcare’s General Manager of Property.

Centrally located in the heart of Brisbane the Villa Maria Centre has close proximity to shops and transport and features a Chapel built in the 1920s, a new gym, hair salon and other activity and lifestyle spaces which can be shared with residents’ families and the broader community.
