Prime Minister Anthony Albanese recorded a video posted on Twitter, thanking the 360,000 resident and in-care workers for their “incredible work” on Aged Care Employee Day last Sunday.
He was joined by Minister for Aged Care, Anika Wells, who said “thank you to everyone who works to keep our older Australians safe and healthy.”
Aged Care Employee Day is an initiative of the Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) and is an annual celebration supporting and honouring residential, home and community aged care workers.
