Since US President Donald Trump rose to power, the land of the free and the home of the brave has been taking a bit of a hit regarding its global reputation.
And the country’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis seems to only have accelerated this.
A survey from the Pew Research Center has illustrated a decline in America’s reputation, particularly among many key allies and partners.
Just 41% of people in the UK feel favourably about the US and this is ever lower in France (31%).
Germans give the US particularly low marks (26%), while the most negative assessment comes from Belgium where only 9% of respondents said they were confident the US was doing the right thing.
The numbers don’t lie!
The only problem is, they’re not the ones doing the voting in the US.
