You might have noticed the former US President has been fairly quiet in the wake of his election loss, especially without the use of his social media accounts.
But with the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference in his backyard of Orlando, Florida, Trump wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to get his voice out there.
Trump spent much of his 90-minute speech attacking the new Biden administration.
Never one to miss an opportunity for a headline, Trump also teased another tilt at the top job in 2024.
“A Republican president will make a triumphant return to the White House,” he said.
“I wonder who that will be?”
This is the first time he’s addressed a crowd since the January 6 riots in Washington DC.
2024 is a long time away, but let’s face it – stranger things have happened.
