In what might go down as one of the biggest cases of sour grapes in the history of US politics, Donald Trump is reportedly planning to hold a massive rally in Florida on the same day as President-elect Joe Biden’s official inauguration on 20 January.
Axios reports the President, who has refused to concede the Presidential election despite the electoral college officially handing it to Biden this week, is considering holding a massive rally in Florida, and announce his intention to run for re-election in 2024.
The idea is to create a split-screen moment with the mass ‘Make America Great Again’ rally contrasting Biden’s scaled-down, socially-distant inauguration.
Mr Trump had previously told a crowd in Valdosta, a city in the US state of Georgia: “If I lost, I’d be a very gracious loser.”
But if there’s any merit to this report, it seems like he’s being anything but.
