In case you somehow missed it, the US President met with the reclusive North Korean leader in Singapore this week to sign a historic agreement establishing new relations between their two countries.
But the biggest story wasn’t the potential denuclearisation. Rather it was a bizarre movie trailer that Trump had made to show Kim and eight members of the North Korean delegation during their meeting – starring the two of them as heroes with the fate of the world in their hands.

Made by ‘Destiny Pictures’, the four-minute clip bills itself as a story about “a special moment in time, when a man is presented with one chance that may never be repeated.”
It’s completely over-the-top – if it hadn’t been released at the meeting’s official press conference, we would have said it was ‘fake news’.
Sadly no word on what Kim thought, but considering he said beforehand that the world would see his meeting with Trump as “a scene from a science fiction movie”, we’re guessing – four out of five stars?
