The women led police on a 33-kilometre highway chase in Dade City, Pasco County, after they were reported to be “air drying” themselves at a bus stop one morning last week.
When approached by officers, the unclothed trio jumped in their car and fled the scene.
The women were eventually apprehended after the authorities were forced to use ‘stop sticks’ to deflate their car’s tyres.
One had to be subdued using a stun gun and marijuana was also found in the car.
The women have since been charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, fleeing to elude and unsurprisingly, indecent exposure.
Interestingly, though Pasco is known as the “nudist capital of the world, the arrest reports do not indicate the women are linked to its many nudist or clothing-optional communities”.
We’re guessing that’s a case that wasn’t in the police officers’ handbook.
