No really. The not-for-profit organisation is celebrating its 95th anniversary in the Sunshine State by launching its own scent – called 1922 – according to the ABC.
So what does the CWA smell like?
The perfume has notes of citrus, lavender, rose and boronia with a base of vanilla and spices.
It was created after the editor of the group’s magazine Ruth interviewed a local perfume maker Jonathon Midgely in Brisbane.
“During the conversation I asked him that if he could bottle all the good things about the CWA, what would it smell like?”
“He started laughing, but then he said jams, marmalades and then wondered what would women have smelt like in 1922?”
“He said, ‘We have to add boronia because it smells like the scent of an angel’, which the CWA are.”
All money raised from its sale will now go towards QCWA’s future community projects.
What a fitting way to mark their success.
