Ever wanted to live like a supervillain? Well, if you have around $10 million to spare, you could make your dreams of having your own evil lair a reality.
A luxury five-bedroom home in Sydney’s swanky Mosman is going on the market – and comes with its very own “secret” tunnel from the garage to the lift shaft, complete with home gym.
Owners Robert and Wendy Procter had the tunnel dug out four years ago by a crew of Lightning Ridge miners at a cost of around $1 million, thus saving them from having to walk up 63 steps – well worth the price, Robert told realestate.com.au.
The $10 million price guide is well above the $290,000 the Procters paid for it about 40 years ago – but with Opera House views, a heated pool and (of course) the unique tunnel, they’re expecting plenty of interest.
