Need help to exercise at home safely? This website is designed for older Australians

0

The Safe Exercise at Home website has been developed by clinicians and physiotherapy researchers from 10 universities to help older Australians to stay active at home.

Launched this week, the website – which can be accessed via desktop or mobile – provides information and videos for three levels of fitness, plus tips on staying motivated and safe while exercising at home.

The website is also endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

We think it’s a great idea – research shows that lack of physical activity is linked to falls and poor health.

With everyone following the directions to stay at home and doing less exercise than they would normally, it’s never been more important to stay moving – whatever your age.

You can check out the site here.
