Fans of the classic 1985 movie got a blast from the past this week when the 55-year-old actor joined the British band on stage in the US to recreate one of ‘Back to the Future’s’ iconic scenes.

Fox and the band played two songs from the film including Chuck Berry’s hit ‘Johnny B Goode’, which his character Marty McFly sang at a school dance in 1955 – three years before it was released.

It’s not the first time Fox has reprised the famous scene, performing the song in 2011 at a fundraiser for his Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The actor was diagnosed with the disease in 1991 and has since campaigned widely to raise awareness and funding for research.
