If you’re in need of a new ride, a super rare Million Dollar Holden Torana A9X Hatch, one of only 33 ever built, is set to break records at auction this weekend.
It has a verified 475 kilometres on the clock from new and is arguably one of the most sort after Australian muscle cars in the country.
“This is the holy grail of Holden motor collector cars in Australia, since Holden closed their doors many muscle car enthusiasts are mourning the loss of performance cars, and there has since been a resurgence in these classic cars,” said Lee Hames, Chief Operations Officer for Lloyds Auctions.
This Torana was the last model of Holden racing before the V8 Commodores began.
“With the Holden prices we’ve seen achieved at auction in the last six months, we certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see this car break records once again,” said Mr Hames.
You’ll need some deep pockets however.
In the last six to 12 months, the last Holden off the production line sold for $750,000, while a Harvey A9X Torana sold for $910,000 and a special 1 of 4 Holden Maloo Ute sold for $1,100,000 in January.
Well, if you have money to burn!
