Interested in volunteering? This website will find the right opportunity for you

If you have ever wanted to give a little back to your community, but haven’t been sure where to start, there is a website that can help.

GoVolunteer is an initiative of Volunteering Australia that aims to match people who are interested in volunteering with the right volunteering opportunities.

They currently have over 5,000 opportunities listed across Australia ranging from one-off to short- and long-term roles in a range of areas with many organisations being flexible with times.

And while some organisations have put their opportunities on hold during the coronavirus pandemic, others are in need of more help – so there’s never been a better time to get involved.

You can find out more at their website here.

National Volunteer Week 2020 is 18 to 24 May 2020.
