Hate taking your partner shopping? This mall in China has the answer

0

The Global Harbor Mall in Shanghai has created free ‘husband storage pods’ for people who would rather wait for their partner to finish shopping than follow them around to every store.

Each pod is equipped with an armchair, gaming console and TV screen so users can play video games, watch TV or listen to music.

There have been some complaints that the pods are cramped and lack air conditioning. Some women also feared their partners may not want to leave the pods.

One told a reporter: “Boyfriends are here to carry bags, open water bottles and give opinions on whether or not I should buy the clothes,” according to the Daily Mail.

But otherwise feedback has been positive and the mall now plans to turn the free trial into a user-pays system.

Or you could just leave your partner at home to play their video games.
