Now, I like Easter as much as the next bloke, but seems to me like once the kids are done with their choccy egg hunt, there’s nothing left for poor old Larry!
Well, finally some good news for me and the other Dads around Australia: the fine people over at Beer Cartel – makers of the Beer Advent Calendar which has brightened my Chrissy these past few years – have come up with the Great Australian Easter Beer Hunt. How good is that!
“We’ve seen how much people enjoy our Beer Advent Calendar and we’ve leant on seven years of knowledge gained from selling these to create this new adult Easter tradition
“From the box, to the beers and the overall experience, we’ve really tried to recreate the childhood magic of the Easter egg hunt in a format for grown-ups,” said Geoff Huens, Director of Beer Cartel.
According to Geoff – who I reckon is a bloody genius – the case has eight different limited-release craft beers from places like Deeds Brewing, Mountain Culture and Hop Nation.
“We know beer drinkers love trying different beers. For this pack we not only want it to be a fun new way to enjoy Easter, but an opportunity to taste some top-notch beers from highly acclaimed breweries,” he said.
Now that’s an Easter hunt I can get behind! As long as I can sneak it past the missus, of course…
