Bethanie, Western Australia’s not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider, has recently invested over $5 million towards refurbishments of five of their existing aged care homes, developing additional capacity and enhancing the quality of accommodation for residents.

Across the five sites – Bethanie Peel, Bethanie Elanora, Bethanie Geneff, Bethanie Illawong and Bethanie Joondanna – there have been significant refurbishments including painting, installation of split-system air conditioning, upgrades to kitchens, bathrooms, communal spaces, landscaping, nurse call systems and CCTV cameras.

Creating an inviting living environment has delighted residents, their families and staff according to Bethanie CEO Chris How who added that “whilst a lot of attention and detail goes into development of new projects, we know how important it is to ensure our existing facilities are maintained”.

“Bethanie is reinvesting into our existing resources and facilities to ensure our residents and clients remain satisfied and living well” he said.

All works were carried out by Tallwood Constructions and managed by Bethanie Property and Development, including Bethanie interior design selections and contract administration.
