Are you or your kids (or, let’s face it, both) obsessed with the hit kids’ cartoon Bluey? Want to live like the Heeler family for a weekend? Well, good news – they’ve listed their house on Airbnb.
The homestay company has partnered with international distributor BBC Studios to recreate the Heeler house for a one-weekend getaway.
For $20, two adults and two children can spend two nights in the Heelers’ house, complete with the iconic mailbox and bone-shaped chimney; recreations of Bluey and Bingo’s bedroom and playroom; a behind-the-scenes tour of Ludo Studio, where the show is made; and a fridge stocked with food – including Bandit’s famous duck cake.
“Like many parents with young children, I’ve been captivated by the adventures of Bluey and her family, which bring so much joy and quintessential Aussie humour to audiences across the globe,” said Susan Wheeldon, Airbnb Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand.
“We’re delighted to add Bluey, Bingo, Chilli and Bandit to our growing community of Airbnb Hosts. And while we have some incredible homes on Airbnb, there will be nothing quite like waking up in the Heeler house and getting to live and breathe in Bluey’s magical world for one wondrous weekend.”
Bookings will open up on Tuesday 15 February at 8:00 AM AEDT for the two-night stay, to take place between Friday 18 and Sunday 20 February – but there’s only one spot available and it’s first-come, first-serve, so if you want it, you’d best run your little sausage dog legs!
