Elderly dry cleaners strike a pose in forgotten clothing

Wan-ji Change, 83, and his wife Sho-er Hsu, 84, have become fashion icons using clothing left behind at their dry-cleaning business in Taiwan.

The octogenarians have amassed 122,000 followers since their Instagram account WantShowAsYoung went live with the photos two weeks ago.

They’ve since found themselves modelling for editions of global fashion magazines, including Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and Esquire.

For 70 years, Wan-ji and Sho-er have been washing the clothes of the people in Taichung City.

Over the decades, hundreds of pieces of clothing that customers left behind have piled.

So, their grandson convinced the couple to have some fun by modelling the abandoned clothes and posting the pictures on Instagram.

But what about all the unwanted laundry?

Their Instagram account introduction ends with a friendly reminder: “Don’t forget to pick up your laundry.”
