The pizza giant is offering Australians the chance to win the equivalent of 60 years’ worth of pizza to celebrate its 60th birthday.
Domino’s announced the competition across its social media on Wednesday – but there is a catch.
To be eligible for the prize, the winner has to have had a child on Domino’s birthday – December 9, 2020 (this past Wednesday) – and they must have named their baby ‘Dominic’ or ‘Dominique’.
The winner will be gifted $10,080, which is the equivalent of a $14 pizza every month for 60 years.
That’s around one free meal every month until 2080 or 720 nights away from the pans.
Domino’s Australia and New Zealand CEO Nick Knight said being able to treat family and friends to free pizza from birth was something to ‘stork’ about.
“After all, nothing brings people closer like pizza… and the arrival of a new baby,” Mr Knight said.
The winner will also be required to post a certified copy of their baby’s birth certificate to Domino’s by 30 January 2021.
We’re not sure how many parents would be keen enough on Domino’s to name their child after the chain – but it would certainly make for an interesting story at their 21st birthday!
