Brawl breaks out in Canadian aged care facility – over bingo game

0

A pleasant game of bingo turned very ugly when two residents began arguing over the same seat, reports CBS.

Police were called after the women – aged 79 and 86 – became involved in a “physical altercation” when both refused to give up the coveted chair. Other residents soon piled on and quickly escalated the situation to the dismay of the facility’s staff – can you imagine?

Authorities confirmed that no one was seriously injured or charged as a result of the argument, but were unable to say if the game went ahead that afternoon (we’re guessing no).

Some people obviously take their bingo very seriously.
