Aroused? NT thief stuffs suitcase with $2,000 of sex toys

NT Police are on the hunt for clues after a thief stuffed a pink suitcase with $2,000 of sex toys from a house in Alice Springs.

Dianne McRae (pictured), a home care assessor and mother of six children, runs a part-time business April Nights selling adult toys and lingerie. She said the thief smashed through her front window on Tuesday morning and packed a pink suitcase with the booty.

“It’s really disappointing,” she told the NT News.

“At first I was completely devastated because I thought that they had taken everything, but I discovered there was still a suitcase and a box of stock left behind, so that brought some immediate relief.”

The stock left behind means she is still able to hold adult parties and earn an income.

She is at a loss to understand why the thief stole the sex toys (we have a few ideas).

“They have obviously chosen to take it. They would have had to pick it up and put it in the suitcase, so I’m very curious as to what they were actually hoping for with that,” she told the NT News.

“I hope they’re out there having the time of their life, looking sexy in the lingerie.”

Definitely a crime of passion.
