Only in America: Trump says he doesn’t want immigrants from “s..thole countries”: Americans just confused by the word “s..thole”

The US President said he would prefer immigrants from Norway compared to Haiti, El Salvador and African nations during an Oval Office meeting on immigration.

“Why are we having all these people from s..thole countries come here?” Trump said, according to a Washington Post report that cites two sources briefed on the meeting.

Of course Trump has denied using any s..t-related word, despite Democrat senator Dick Durbin confirming that he had said it.

Laughably however, the biggest debate on social media ended up being whether Trump said “s..thole” or “s..thouse” – and if “sh..house” was actually a word.

“S..thouse” isn’t a thing people say,” one person posted.

Luckily there were plenty of Aussies on hand to educate them.

Either way, we think it’s a s..thouse thing to say.
