Only in America: Trump launches his own subscription merchandise service

Yes, really. Just like a cheese or wine club, the US President’s campaign is launching the “Big League Box” for just $69 a month.

An email, obtained by the Center for Public Integrity, says the boxes will contain “a hand-picked bundle of exclusive and vintage official Donald J. Trump merchandise delivered to your door every month as a recurring donor”.

It’s the latest marketing move to raise funds for the Don’s re-election.

Trump’s campaign already sells a range of merchandise including t-shirts, hats, buttons, bumper stickers and mugs.

The products haven’t always gone to plan though. Back in March, the President’s committee released a green ‘Make America Great Again’ hat for St. Patrick’s Day.

But when social media picked up that the hat featured a four-leaf clover – not a three-leaf shamrock, the official symbol of Ireland – it quickly disappeared from sale.

So what will be in the boxes? We’re guessing steak knives.
