Aged Care Workforce Council takes step towards attracting more professionals into aged care sector

Do you know someone who would be a good fit to work in aged care? This is for you!

The Aged Care Workforce Industry Council (ACWIC) has a new campaign which aims to attract hundreds of thousands of people into the aged care sector.

The aim of the campaign is to somehow triple the sector’s workforce from 366,000 to 980,000 -within the next 29 years – a tall order. (Where will we all be in 29 years?)

It’s hoped the campaign will highlight fulfilling career options on offer in the aged care sector after the Royal Commission recommended the ACWIC raise more awareness about job opportunities.

Maybe you are exactly who they are looking for?

Increasing the workforce is considered one of the more critical changes needed in the sector to see the quality of care rise – now we all have a chance to help play a part!

Tell your friends, tell your family, we can help raise numbers.
