Residents at Freedom Aged Care Burwood in Victoria frocked up in their best fancy dress for the event, which was organised by the facility’s community team.
Residents danced to a live band and faced off in a ‘Famous Faces’ masquerade game, where they had to guess the celebrity wearing the mask with a bottle of wine gifted to the winner.
The highlight of the night however was a performance by local opera singer Paul Gulinello who had a few residents join him including 90-year-old resident Audrey Paturzo.
Ms Paturzo said the night brought back special memories for her from her time as the lead female singer in the My Fair Lady musical in Melbourne in 1959.
A great night for all then.
