A Penrith legend is helping build the ultimate retirement community

0

Penrith boy Royce Simmons is a legend in Rugby League as being not only a great competitor but also a great ambassador for all that is great about the game. He is known across 40 years as a gentleman and builder of local community.

So it was no surprise when Penrith Leagues Club got together with another local family, the Tulichs, to build a ‘best in class’ retirement community; they named it The Royce.

In fact, it has been so successful, Royce Simmons has purchased a home in The Royce himself.

A real community in a community

The Royce is in the centre of Penrith, surrounded by Penrith Leagues Club and its playing fields, plus shopping centres, cafes, riverside walks and all services, like doctors and dentists.

The Royce also offers care support, including a modern aged care home.

Its five star facilities include a concierge to take all your deliveries, and a very strong group of residents that are engaged in a wide range of activities, like chair and mat yoga, cards, arts and crafts, garden club, local walks, knitting group, move and flow exercises, scrabble, trivia, board games, birthday parties, BBQs, and courtyard concerts.

You can also pamper yourself at HWA studio onsite, offering a full range of hair and beauty services or stay active in the Royce state of the art wellness centre.

Ross Dobson café on site

Very special is The Royce Café, led by internationally recognised chef (and local Penrith boy), Ross Dobson. Open to the public, The Royce Café is full of activity every day, drawn by great coffee, great food and great community.

Ross is an acclaimed writer of cook books that sell across the world, but he has chosen to return to his home town Penrith, and The Royce. Even Nigella Lawson is a fan, calling his latest cook book, ‘Australia: The Cookbook’ a real tour de force.

New homes released

The final stage of The Royce is now available but selling strongly.

If you are seeking a more relaxed and worry free retirement, knowing that you will not have to move again, The Royce is for you.

If you want to be engaged in a true local community, you have found it at The Royce.

You can learn more HERE. Or call the Tulich Family on 02 4744 6000.

Or drop in to The Royce Café for a coffee at 123 Mulgoa Road, Penrith (of course).

The Donaldson sisters focus on living today and looking forward positively to the next 10, 20 and 30 years. They get important topics and perspectives on the table for open discussion – topics that aren’t often raised in the mainstream media and voices and perspectives less frequently heard.
