An alleged drunk driver has come out second best while trying to escape officers in the US state of Virginia.

Police had just one word to say about the dashcam video posted to their Facebook page: “Oops”.

Postscript: Police say the man was unharmed, but is now facing a string of charges including drink driving and driving under the influence of drugs. No surprises there.
