The much-lauded American ‘Music & Memory’ program that can soothe the anxiety of people with dementia is being trialled here in Australia. Check this out.

When 78-year-old John ‘Sean’ O’Malley arrived at Blacktown Hospital in Sydney’s west, he was angry, distressed and agitated.

Hospital staff gave him an iPod loaded with his favourite Elvis Presley songs – and the change has been extraordinary.
