Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Isabella Lövin has one-upped President Trump, posting a picture of herself signing a bill surrounded by a group of female colleagues.
Social media users were quick to compare it to the widely mocked images of Trump signing executive orders that affected the world’s women as his all-male cohorts looked on.
Ms Lövin says it’s up to observers to interpret the photo – which has received over 70,000 likes and been retweeted over 30,000 times – but we think the message is clear.
Trump has also come in for more ridicule in this ‘Switzerland Second’ video.
Created by a Swiss comedy show, the spoof on Trump’s ‘America First’ slogan argues why the US should be putting Switzerland ‘second’ – and includes the classic line: “We have the best women. They’re all 10s.”
