Meet Annie and Jill, the new faces of aged care and retirement living
They will prove to be powerful media advocates for the ageing journey, bringing discussion on ageing ‘to the kitchen table’.
Annie Donaldson
Annie has a background in nursing and has spent over 20 years working in the health industry, including the coordination of medical support for international TV productions and major stadium events. In recent years, she has also taken time out of the workforce to be a full-time carer, giving her first-hand experience of the challenges and rewards of this role.
Jill Donaldson
Jill has been an aged care physiotherapist for the past 13 years and has worked in more than 50 metropolitan and regional aged care homes. She has also toured care facilities across the US and Africa and is a passionate advocate for both the residents in aged care and the staff that serve them.
Annie and Jill will build on our tradition of frank opinion and earnest discussion, coupled with the humour and community interest that is their own personality. Importantly, they bring real experience in the care sector to the conversation.
