Style has no age limit as this movie shows…

Advanced Style is a movie which takes you into the lives of seven New York women whose eclectic personal style and vital spirit have given them a new approach to ageing.

Based on Ari Seth Cohen’s famous blog of the same name, the film will warm your heart with intimate and colourful portraits of these independent, stylish women aged 62 to 95 who are challenging conventional ideas about beauty, ageing, and our Western culture’s obsession with youth.

Initially released in the US late last year, the film will start screening here in Australia at Palace Cinemas from July 16.

“Fashion docs are often shallow in the extreme but this one is as much about fighting back against the ravages of time as it is about air kissing – and is all the stronger as a result.”

Frank and Earnest love to have conversations about the things that matter in life to most people but especially to those of us with a few years behind us. We start some conversations, we pick up others, we share stories and ideas and try to stimulate thinking.
