Did you buy an Oz Lotto ticket from Hampton Park Lotto in Melbourne for this past Tuesday’s draw? Best check your numbers – because the hunt is on for the $50 million Division One winner.
The mystery player – who was the only winner of the Division One jackpot – didn’t link their ticket to a player card, meaning Oz Lotto officials have no way of contacting them and need to wait for them to get in touch.
According to spokesperson Anna Hobdell, The Lott is ready and waiting to hand over the elusive victor’s $50 million prize.
“In Victoria, lottery players have up to 12 months to claim their prizes directly from us. Once the 12 months have surpassed, they can claim their prize from the Victorian State Revenue Office,” she said.
“However, we’re in the business of paying prizes, so we do hope the mystery winner comes forward soon so we can start the process of paying the prize into their bank account!”
If you think you might have the ticket, the winning numbers for 1494 on Tuesday 4 October 2022 were 37, 42, 47, 39, 5, 17 and 20, with supplementaries 29, 22 and 38 – now if you’ll excuse us, we have to go check down behind the couch cushions.
