Irate woman ruins bed sheet to rant about next-door neighbour

Epping, an upper middle-class suburb in northern Sydney, is witnessing a petty three-year neighbourly squabble.

The matter reached the NSW Land and Environment Court in May last year when it ruled a new fence was needed between the homes of Yuk Lo and Dr Rong Ji and two trees had to be cut down in Dr Ji’s backyard, with all costs to be split between the disputing neighbours.

Now Yuk Lo hung bed sheets outside her home with words written on them, saying Dr Ji owed her more than $400.

“Attention (property address), live shameful couple,” the sign reads.

“Owner… Dr Rong Ji.

“Plants trees close to neighbour’s sewer and electrical cable.

“Spent 4.23 millions to buy (property address) on 5/12/2021.

“But ignore court order to pay $412.5 on 7/10/2021 until 6/5/2022, seven months late.”

Dr Ji admitted he had not paid the court-ordered money and he told The Daily Telegraph that the idea his trees were an issue was “fantasy”.

Looks like this petty dispute may get worse.
