Donald Trump is no longer dominating news but, rest assured, his political ambitions are as strong as ever.
The one-term US President has emailed the Republican Party faithful with a new hat.
Gone is the classic red cap with ‘MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN’ in white letters adorning the front.
“I just designed our BRAND NEW MAGA Hat and I want YOU to have it,” the email from Mr Trump reads. “You’ve always been one of my most LOYAL supporters, so I don’t want you to have just ANY hat… I want YOU to have the MAGA Hat that I personally HAND-SIGNED for YOU.”
The abbreviated ‘MAGA’ is in white letters outlined in yellow.
The aim of the email however is fundraising, with ‘friends’ asked to donate to have a chance of owning the MAGA cap.
“Our movement isn’t slowing down, in fact, it’s only speeding up. That’s why I wanted to design a NEW HAT for all of our best supporters,” Mr Trump said.
As Mr Trump tries to keep his head down, President Joe Biden suffered a huge blow with the latest poll showing his popularity has dropped to an all-time low of just 50.4 per cent. Polling aggregator FiveThirtyEight has been updating the President’s popularity rating based on regular polling. Mr Biden has a rising disapproval rating, which stands at 43.6 per cent – the highest during his Presidency so far.
