What fun! Regis Elermore Vale ‘fly First Class’ to the Philippines

With international flights essentially banned, the residents at Regis Elermore Vale’s aged care facility have been given the ‘First Class’ treatment on a ‘flight’ to the Philippines.

With the residents’ bags packed, passports stamped and refreshments ordered, everyone was strapped in for their monthly Armchair Travel event.

A few lucky flyers scored window seats, able to enjoy the clear blue skies over Australia.

Regis Aged Care says the destinations are inspired by where residents and staff are from.

“They get to share experiences together and immerse themselves in each other’s cultures,” said a Regis spokesperson.

Over the past three months, residents have virtually visited Italy, England and the Philippines, with Canada next on the bucket list.

What a fun-filled idea – we love to report on things like this so tell us what you are doing.
