Adelaide man to face court over number plate that read “Not stolen OK”

There is brazen and there’s this.

An Adelaide man who chose to paint ‘Not stolen OK’ on the number plate of his unregistered and uninsured car is set to face court.

The 26-year-old Rosetown man was pulled over by South Australian police who spotted him driving his Mitsubishi without lights at about 2am on February 10.

As officers got closer, they noticed the man had painted over the faded letters and numbers with an ugly brown paint and written ‘Not stolen OK’ underneath.

The man was also found to be disqualified from driving and is set to face court at a later date for a string of driving offences.

The lesson here …. painting by numbers isn’t always the way to go.
