Aside from some sort of hair-related mishap, this is probably the one thing in the world that might make Donald Trump as upset as losing the actual election.
Factbase, a website dedicated to recording everything the Leader of the Free World says, has confirmed Trump has already lost over 133,000 Twitter followers since the election.
In the same time, the new President Elect Joe Biden has seen a massive spike in his numbers, gaining approximately 1.5 million.
While this doesn’t necessarily indicate people falling off the bandwagon, as CNN host Brian Stelter noted that it’s the first time Trump has consistently lost followers since 2015.
He did add however that Twitter followers are “surely not the most important metric in the world”.
We couldn’t agree more, although we get the feeling Trump might feel otherwise.
