Work in aged care? These free, online courses are designed to help you care for people living with dementia during COVID-19

The short courses have been announced by the Centre for Dementia Learning to help out frontline staff during the pandemic and will be available free online until 30 June.

There are two modules – titled ‘What is dementia?’ and ‘A problem-solving approach to behaviours’ – than can each be completed in just one hour at your own pace, allowing a pause at any point.

Featuring short videos and easy-to-read information, each module also provides you with your practice improvement plan so you can build on what you have learnt in your own workplace.

With over 50% of all people living in residential care having a diagnosis of dementia, the course could prove to be a valuable tool at this difficult time.
