If you’re looking for a good news story this week, it doesn’t get much sweeter than the news that the brand has launched a new version of its famous Bubble O’ Bill ice cream – his sister Jill.
Streets teased its Facebook followers last Friday with a silhouette of the new item, featuring the caption: “Someone new just rode into town … wonder who it could be …?”
Looking very similar to her brother with a big bubblegum nose (which I would always end up dropping on the ground) but without the moustache (she is a lady after all), Jill’s arrival was greeted with delight on social media.
The post attracted more than 2,500 comments, 4,000 likes and over 350 shares.
“Finally, some good news in 2020,” one Facebook user wrote.
“When the world needed a hero the most!” another posted.
So, if you are popping into your local convenience store or petrol station for your essential shopping, Jill is a sweet $2.50.
