The village manager is essential to the running of a retirement village, but research shows 33% of village managers are relatively new to the job and had been in their role for less than three years.
Our Villages.com.au National Village Survey also showed one-third of retirement village residents were concerned that their village manager didn’t have the professional skills, knowledge and authority to undertake their role.
This is where our DCM Institute Village Management Professional Development + Peer Network comes in.
The Program is designed to be the ultimate toolkit for village managers, with quarterly state professional development days with experienced industry experts, regular Peer to Peer support network meetings, an online portal with tools and resources, monthly hints and tips videos and regular Q&A webinars.
Most importantly, the Program lets village managers network with each other and learn from their shared experiences – and it’s attracting village managers from across Australia.
There are now 350 village managers signed up to the Program – with more signing up every week.
If you are thinking of joining a village, why not ask if your manager is enrolled in the Program?
