An elderly US woman dubbed the “serial stowaway” has struck again after trying to board a plane with no travel documents.
Marilyn Hartman, 67, was arrested after she attempted to bypass Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport security without a boarding pass.
Hartman was charged with criminal trespass and is scheduled to appear in court Sunday morning, Chicago Police Department said in a press release.
It marks the latest in a long line of arrests for Hartman, who grabbed headlines last year after boarding a plane in Chicago and flying to London without a ticket.
In March she was sentenced to 18 months’ probation, agreeing to steer clear of Chicago’s two commercial airports.
Hartman apologised to the airport in the trial for “causing problems for them”.
