When you shop online you can indulge in some pretty odd purchases and no-one will know, well that’s what you think.
Amazon has announced its top five weirdest sales and I’m sad to say I have one of them, but I’m not telling you which one.
So, here goes.
1. If you’ve got a spare $10 you too can own a motion-activated toilet light. Avoid waking your partner or missing the target completely with the Glow Bowl.
2. A zipline for the dog. Rover can know freak out over a squirrel while staying safe and secure. One happy customer said, “the zip line saved my 30lb pug’s life when I flipped and totalled my car”
3. The Spirited Away Piggy Bank – if you’re having trouble saving or just don’t enjoy it apparently handing piggy Kaonashi your money is fun. I quite like a good old-fashioned piggy bank with a traditional slit in his back and the opportunity to prize it open if the going gets tough.
4. If you get seasick pass on this one – an ocean wave projector with built-in speaker. The device recreates the sense of sleeping in a pool or even the ocean lapping visions of water on the ceiling and plays relaxing ambient nature sounds to crashing ocean waves.
5. A smart water bottle – it does the obvious but then nags you about drinking regularly and can play you music – I think I’ll pass on that.
