On Wednesday, the US House of Representatives condemned comments that the President made about four Democratic Congresswomen earlier this week as “racist”.
Mr Trump has found himself in hot water after Tweeting that the four women should “go back” to the “crime infested places from which they came”.
All four women are from diverse cultural backgrounds – but three were born in the US, and all of them are American citizens.
But the Internet has responded (as usual) with a new trending hashtag, as many have chosen to hit back at Trump’s comments by posting fondly about former President Barack Obama (pictured) with Tweets labelled #ObamaWasBetterAt (pictured inset).
Of course, the President may be slightly offended by this new trend – but with 62 million of his own Twitter followers, we’d say he probably hasn’t even noticed.
