An unlucky traveller waiting at Sydney Airport took to Reddit to slam an “un-Australian” serving of toast from a café.
The post quickly went viral, with fellow users keen to add in their two cents on the disappointingly small amount of Vegemite.
“This looks like they walked past a jar of vegemite while holding the bread and then called it a day”, one said. Another added, “I’m fairly sure that’s illegal in Australia”.
Even users who don’t enjoy the iconic yeast-based spread agreed the serving wasn’t up to scratch.
“I hate the stuff and even I know that isn’t quite enough,” one responded.
Personally, I’m all for the ‘less is more’ approach to Vegemite – but this is just ridiculous.
