This UK family will pay you $74,000 – to dress like a Disney princess

The family has posted an unusual job ad – for a new nanny willing to dress up like one of the famous characters five days a week for £40,000 ($74,000 AUD) – as well as performing basic care duties like school pickups and cooking dinners.

The ad says the family will cover the costs for all princess costumes – including Cinderella, Rapunzel and Belle from Beauty & The Beast – who are much loved by their five-year-old twin daughters.

Why, we have to ask?

The mother explains that the parents felt the dress-ups would be the best way to communicate important values to the girls.

“We know this isn’t a normal request for nannies, however we think it would be a great way to teach our girls about things like determination, compassion, fearlessness and ambition from strong yet relatable female role models.”

All they ask is that the right candidate is fun, creative, unafraid of disciplining “little terrors” and has a passion for Disney.
